A trip abroad revealed that the chocolate industry wastes much of the cacaofruit, discarding its flavourful, nutrient-rich pulp. This discovery inspired a drink that's simple, honest and sustainable.

Determined to transform cacaofruit waste into a delicious drink, our founder envisioned a beverage that tasted amazing without unnecessary additives while addressing global challenges. By upcycling cacaofruit, Kaoba reduces 11 million metric tonnes of waste annually, ensures farmers are compensated fairly and contributes to ending exploitation in the chocolate industry.
