Over the last two weeks, the Kaoba team has been on a mission. Armed with ice-cold cans of our sparkling cacaofruit soda, we’ve been hitting the streets of London, Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Why? Because we believe the best way to truly understand the magic of cacaofruit is to taste it for yourself.
Cacaofruit might be new to some, but it’s been a hidden gem for far too long. Typically discarded after cacao beans are extracted for chocolate, this naturally sweet, refreshing superfruit is finally getting its moment in the spotlight—and rightfully so. With its tropical, citrusy notes and a gentle hint of pear and lychee, Kaoba has been winning over taste buds at every stop.
The response? Nothing short of incredible. We’ve seen the full spectrum—from the skeptical first sip to the wide-eyed, ‘Wait, why does this taste SO good?’ moment. The overwhelming positivity has fueled us even more, reinforcing why we started this journey: to turn an overlooked byproduct into something delicious, refreshing and 100% sustainable.
