When we first launched Kaoba, we started with just 20kg of cacaofruit pulp, enough to whip up a few batches, share with curious friends and family and see if the world was ready for a soda made from a discarded superfruit. Spoiler alert: you were very ready.
Since then, we’ve sold out. Twice. Which is the kind of problem we’ll happily take any day.
Your support gave us the confidence to go big - like, really big. We’ve just placed an order for over 100 tonnes of fresh, upcycled cacaofruit pulp. That’s right - from 20kg to 100,000kg.Â

Beyond the buzz and bubbles, there’s something really powerful about this milestone: every single order helps make a difference to cacao farmers and their families across South America and West Africa. By giving value to the cacaofruit pulp, normally discarded in the chocolate-making process, we’re helping to create extra income streams and reduce waste at the source. That’s a win-win in our book.
We’re always amazed by how far we’ve come in such a short time and that’s entirely thanks to you (our incredible community of early supporters, taste testers, shopkeepers, gym-goers, cocktail lovers and curious sippers)
